Cleaning Supervisor/Head cleaner

Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the cleaning operations of a team or department. Your role will involve ensuring that cleaning activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established standards and procedures. You will provide guidance and support to the cleaning staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene across the designated areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff, including assigning duties, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.

2. Plan and organize cleaning schedules, ensuring that all areas are cleaned regularly and as per the established standards.

3. Inspect and evaluate the cleanliness of assigned areas, identifying areas that require special attention or improvement.

4. Ensure that cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations and guidelines.

5. Order and maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials, equipment, and products.

6. Develop and implement efficient cleaning procedures and techniques to enhance productivity and quality.

7. Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues related to cleaning services.

8. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.

9. Collaborate with other departments or teams to coordinate cleaning activities during special events or projects.

10. Train and educate cleaning staff on proper cleaning methods, safety procedures, and company policies.

11. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.

12. Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, including attendance, performance, and inventory.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a cleaning supervisor or in a similar role.

2. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, techniques, and equipment.

3. Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

4. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

5. Ability to train and motivate a team.

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.

9. Physical stamina and the ability to perform cleaning tasks when necessary.

10. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in cleaning and sanitation practices is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
